I actually started to enjoy neuro at the end, probably would have loved it if it was taught better.

@sinombre @Sin Nombre bump.
Just realized that the Sin Nombre user registered in 2011 but didn't post... great... 👎
I originally tried to sign up under that name but it was taken.
Also I'm not quite sure I deserve a bump, but I'll take it.
Pics???I was invited to a dinner with my musculoskeletal "TA" that is an orthopedic surgeon. It was at his $6.5 million dollar home. I have never been in a house as big or beautiful as his. I doubt we will all get something that nice, but it was definitely a pleasure to see someone that made it through the hell and is financially (veryextremely) stable.

Personally more of a http://www.rainymood.com/ fan.http://rain.simplynoise.com/
I think being in raised in the PNW has made me feel way to happy to hear rain. Definitely nice and relaxing to listen to while studying.
On the darker side of things, immuno final in an hour and a half. It is all old step 1 questions and it is making me nervous. Those questions are tough, especially when you haven't had any pharm or micro classes. Let's hope they screened those questions out and not have a repeat of last year where more than 10 people failed the final.
On the bright side, I now go to a top 10 medical school.![]()
Two months until we are done with first year.
Also, I recently realized I don't know what any of my professor's sound like at 1.0 speed. Everyone is really high pitched in my head.
First standardized patient exercise today, coming up soon...

Nice... what are you doing? Interviewing? Physical exam stuff?
It was just HPI and social and family history practice, nothing too crazy. Seemed like it went fine...I guess I'll find out if I have to remediate when scores get posted in a couple of weeks.
Heyyyyyyyy #getitDuring my last standardized patient interview we focused on sexual history taking. The patient was an exotic dancer and was supposed to come on to the student interviewer. She gave a really hilarious performance.

That would be awesome if a student fell for it and tried to get that number. If they are anything like our SPs they are mostly overweight and in their 40/50s. Haha!
What about withoutaname?
Not sure, I didn't try registering under that name.
NO SCHOOL. HELL YEAH! Ok what do I do now with free time?

I go workout and eat after, but close enough..My exam days usually involve heading straight to the bar and day drinking as soon as the exam is over.
Plugging for the FB group. If you'd like to join (you must be a class of 2017 medical student), PM the link to your profile. Once we're friends, I'll add you to the group, and you can un-friend me afterward so I can't stalk your photos... or whatever...
