Ah. UTA is a really good school despite what people think about it. I know a lot of people who went there, but I don't think any of them were pre-med.

How's the pre-med crowd over there?

i have no idea. i'm usually NOT involved with the pre meds at our school. i always hang out at SDN rather than that useless pre med club. you go to UTD?

Oh, PREACH, son. The pre-med club at my school is nauseating. They all went on this Nicaragua "medical mission trip" over Spring Break, and came back thinking themselves the greatest humanitarians alive. Then their pictures went on Facebook: literally HUNDREDS of photos of them drunk off their butts. In scrubs. Occasionally with stethoscopes. Maybe one or two holding an unwitting child and smiling. What is this.

Oh, and they each paid about 3,000 big ones for the privilege of going on that one 👎.

I go to a state school in Texas, but I know a lot of people from Dallas since I have a lot of friends who went to UTD and UTA. Sorry, I wish I could say more but I'm trying to stay anonymous until after I get through the app process.

We have a bunch of "Global Brigades" clubs at my school that do similar things. 🙁
