Unrelated: Does it ever bug you guys when you think about how much you're foregoing for all this premed business? Usually I can rationalize all of it but tonight its got me down 🙁 I need to go read some doctoring stories or watch match day videos for inspiration hah

How'd it go for you two?? It took me two days to review AAMC 5 😱. Is it supposed to take that long?

And, wow, you guys posted so much that I don't think I can read it all... oh well, I just watched Ghost Writers with my family and it was too real. 😍 Ewan MacGregor (or however you spell his name).

Dude, I feel you. I'm 100% committed to becoming a doctor, it's all I ever want to do, but there's a lot I sacrifice. I'm a huge language nerd, and have never had the opportunity to take one outside my Spanish major because of premed. I can't Study Abroad, I can't take a ton of classes I'm interested in, etc. But ultimately, medicine IS what I'm the most passionate about, so it feels less like a sacrifice and more like following my passions. I just wish I could study abroad next year 🙁

Hmm how was your score compared to other exams? My first AAMC went down 4 points from Kaplan 🙁 It was 5, but I feel like 3 and 5 are probably pretty similar.

Thanks for putting it all out there! What's making it worse is I'm listening to such intense music right now (Harrowdown Hill, Thom Yorke). gahhhhh 😛

That happens to me all the time. When I think about my GPA and everything I get down. It's like all I do is study and will it really pay off? I get myself out of it though, but it can be frustrating.

Hahaha, i actually watched the one from Loma Linda a few days ago because i was feeling the same way. It did help for sure. Just keep focused on your goal. Get a good score and once you get in ( hopefully) itll all be uphill (Question mark?:shrug:)

I got under a 30 🙁 I really need to review some Physics/gchem. Seems like I have some gaps in knowledge in physics 2 material and acid bases/thermochem 🙁

I noticed that happens to me when I listen to specific types of musics, too. Maybe I need to work through my library and delete those songs :laugh:
