Yep. I've been elbow deep in **** many times. It all depends on what kind of nursing you are doing. I'm a paper pusher now, however.

Physics can get tedious and boring...When I was studying the physics review notes I don't remember there being too much emphasis on hookes law in TBR. Just F=-kx and how to apply it. So far I don't recall using it much 😱

Yeah for some reason it's a huge deal in EK.. I have the TBR book but I honestly can't get myself to read those loooong chapters. Their passages are really good and MCAT-like though! (albeit slightly harder and more dependant on memorization)

I don't blame you...I only read through TBR for physics because I feel really weak in some areas 😳

This is the goal I'm working towards too! It's weird, I've been taking AAMC's lately, but have wildly fluctuating scores. On AAMC 7, I got a 9/11/14 and on AAMC 8 I got a 10/11/10. So my average is around 32ish, so I'm hoping for that score on the real thing! We can do it!!

I hope 9/2 is a good date for all of us 😳

Also, does anyone else have MAJOR issues with understanding meiosis? I love love love bio, but DO NOT understand meiosis for some goshdarn reason 😱

Hope so too KPaw! My scores in AAMCs have been consistent: usually around 10 and 11 in each section, but I am afraid that test day nervousness will get to me and my score will drop by a few points. And considering that I am barely one or two points above a 30 that'd be bad. 🙁

I don't understand it either. I just memorized the order of when things happen, but have no idea why they happen. 😀
 
Hahaha, I sucked so hard at bowling. I think I got more gutterballs than my other 4 friends combined. I either knocked like 8/9 down or got it in the gutter. I think I was last for both games we played... Oh well, it was good fun!

It looks like we're in similar boats! I have yet to score an 11 on PS, I usually hover around 9 or 10, but am sooo inconsistent with BS. I guess if it hits topic areas I'm good at, I can score a 14, but if it hits my weaknesses, I end up with about a 10. Verbal thankfully has been consistently around an 11. I know, me too!! I'm a nervous test-taker, so I know my score will drop a few points just from that, so the fact that I'm hovering a few points above 30 doesn't bode well 😱

Hahahaha you understand my pain!!! I feel horrible: I took all these bio classes my freshman year, understood things like meiosis SO WELL, and then promptly completely forgot them. I used to understand the dynamics of microtubules and how things were transported across them and everything, and now barely even remember what a microtubule is. I feel like a terrible biology major. It's weird, it seems like the more complex the bio topic, the better I can handle it. I've never been good at mitosis/meiosis, but I'm decent at physiology. Zis no makes the sense 🙁

Check out Khanacademy.com. He has some really good videos on that subject. I don't understand it too well, either 😛

That happened to me, too when I played after awhile...it's really hard to figure out what to do again, especially when you go to different bowling alleys...

Haha, literally just watched his mitosis video. Pretty informative, I guess we don't have to know that stuff as in depth as we did in my bio classes, which is a good thing.

Now for the meiosis video...

Yeah, just basics. Haven't seen any detailed mitosis/meiosis stuff yet. It's probably low yield.
