I need a PS for my LOR writers. I also anticipate it taking a long time for me since these types of things take a long time for me to develop. I just plan to spend a little bit of time over the next couple months. Like 1-2 hours a week not like my whole life writing this time. I think it will be better this way. I also like to be prepared. Not taking a year off for nothing 😀

If I was going to gun you would see: Sabotage other Pre-meds on that schedule.

My PS was written months ago. 🙂

Get better! I have never had mono, but I used to work at the College HR office and three people there got it within the last week I was there.

I wish I could have done that. We didn't have any JROTCs at my High School and we only have Army ROTC on my college campus.

I had the same thing for my AP1 and 2 courses! Though, I have to say I learned more and paid more attention in 2.

And I thought I was a bit over the top LOL. I'm drafting my PS during winter break and writing my activity descriptions.
 
Think I'm mostly moved in. My room is quite bland. Everyone has more stuff than me. And my poster of "Three Worlds" by M.C. Escher keeps falling down. And there's lights outside my room that make it feel like day at 3AM. Gonna try to run and lift tomorrow morning before I have classes! But apparently it's raining as well. /complaints

What's everyone else up to?

Work (8-11)
Spanish Tutor (11-12)
Real Estate (12:30-1:45)
Work (2-5)

Haha! I was about to ask everyone about their timeline like this and the next page i found yours. although a little disappointed about the size i am able to make it out a bit.

could everyone also post what kind of timeline they will be following?

sept-nov: chillingly review for the mcat, draft PS, EC descriptions, connect/update with professors

nov-jan: intensively practice the mcat, polish PS, ask professors for LOR

Jan/Feb: take the mcat; wait for mcat; research schools

actually I just realized that this will basically be my schedule...thanks taters! I'm going to be studying over the summer and taking the mcat before my school semester starts.. wooo 🙂

I was actually pretty productive so far today. I went running this morning even though it was raining, I lifted, and I went to my classes. I'm still working on getting my room together a little more, and I already have a lot of homework. Gotta read an 80 page book for Friday. :laugh:
 
Isn't it weird that I'm already working on the second draft of my PS? I was bored a few months ago and wrote a reasonable draft. Then again, I am a writer so it's what I do. I may update it if I encounter something significant enough to add in, but I don't see my attitude on medicine changing all that much within this year.

My problem right now is that it isn't long enough. It's like.. a page and a quarter. But I enjoy being brief and to the point.
