Also, hopefully no one commits suicide while you're touring...how depressing that they have dedicated officer to try to put a dent in the rampant suicides.

No wine for me this weekend got an interview on Sunday
 
I figured bullet holes because most of the shootings occur on a medic's night shift. Vampires didn't so much as scurry across my mind. 🙁
 
Welp, I think my interview season is finally over. Feels kinda nice to put my suit away. Everyone else done?

Been done since December. Feels good. Already found roommates. And getting housing done soon.

Yea same here. I got an II a few weeks ago and attended it last week. Am done for sure now though.

One last interview in the beginning of March! Unless one of the UCs cough UCSD cough manages to throw me an invite after being on pre interview hold since forever!

Edit: NM googled it and none of the schools I've been accepted/waitlisted to use it.

I might be. UAB put me under a new status a couple of days ago ("remain under consideration for interview") and SLU still hasn't sent out their last few rejections... I'm so close to just saying screw it. I'm tired, so very, very tired. But UAB is like a 3hr drive, so, whatever.

I hate you right now. I still have to wait 6-8 weeks from 2/8/13 to hear back from my top choice after interviewing.

I've actually been shot at myself. It's much more common in our country, especially where I'm from.

Aint that a B? I'm like, "I'm too poor to pay to have you pay what I need to pay!" LoL

But more importantly, I'm estranged from my immediate family, which makes filling all of that out FAR more difficult. I think I'll have to find some kind of paper version or have FinAid file it for me on my behalf. There's no option for people who have no idea where either parent is unless they're adopted. I just had crazy (quite literally) parents...

With the exception of Newfoundland but they only take 5 non maritimers (kinda like oos but for a region of Canada)

One of the schools I applied to said they will keep sending ii for the next 6 weeks (and they aren't rolling)

How does Canadian med school differ from the US? I've never looked into it and am too lazy to google as I finish this day's dredging work...

strangely I have never been shot at with a gun but have been in regions targeted by explosives (when I was working outside of Canada)

I feel like a gun shot is probably scarier
