I also loved the video of the couple playing piano. I love that they kept tapping each other on the bum. LoL

Impermanence, I totally did call in sleepy...to my assistant. I was like, "I'll be in about an hour and a half late. You good?" She was like, "I'm good." Nailed it (the calling in sleepy part, not the assistant).

LoL, that was the very first time I checked out the first page since I first started posting back in October of last year. I bet many of those other OPs either forgot about the thread or ended up applying later than expected or not at all.

I didn't feel comfortable posting until I was actually accepted. It's funny reading some of the earlier pages and seeing how different things were at the beginning of the cycle. MCAT anxiety? LOR writer lagging? AMCAS still not verified? lolz

Good lord am I so, SO, SO glad to be done with all that jazz! Now it's time to stress about WLs, need access, pre-matriculation forms and transcripts, and of course, the almighty move!

I even started to play the script in my head. I'd call work and say "Hmmm, I am running late" and then show up at ~10:30am LOL. I really enjoy my job but I soooo miss working at a lab and going in whenever I woke up.... nice that you can do it 🙂

and to make matters worse they had no dark roast coffee at the cafeteria!! and it looks like I am going to have to fly to a training on my birthday 🙁 anyone want to have a flying-party with me?

Well, I can't really do it; I had to lie a bit. Yeah, I SO miss my lab days. 🙁 I actually yearn for the pippette. LoL

And heck yeah! I'd love to fly with you! Too bad you're not in my state/ 🙁

At one of my interviews, I responded to a question "What do you do in your free time?" Part of my answer was ".. you know, go out on the town with friends, have a couple of drinks..." I stopped awkwardly in the middle of the sentence, exchanged a smirk with the interviewer, and kept talking.

Someone at one of my interviews commented on drinking during his introduction administered by the dean of admissions and got her to comment on the widespread availability of good local microbrews. (Said school is now probably obvious due to my MDApps, haha.) I personally tend to veer away from anything involving alcohol during interviews.
 
Okay, so I just checked FAFSA and my parents returns were finally processed. Used the IRS transfer tool thingy that school X wants so badly. Went to transfer my information. NOT AVAILABLE YET. This is frustrating. I sent this crap in at the exact same time, IRS. Get on it.

There are many an occasion when I wake up and have beer for breakfast. (Damn you England and damn you lunchtime kickoffs!!)

I could always tell which classes I was drinking in by the general decline of note quality. Was always rough having friends done with classes early in the day on Fridays frosh year.

I drink an obscene amount of liquor, so it pretty much makes up for it.

EDIT: Dear adcoms browsing this thread, I swear I am not an alcoholic. I feel like I have to make this statement every so often... :laugh:

Nice!I am hoping to be out by June 7. If folks visit to help me move we may go to Montreal which has this awesome brewery called three muskeeters.
