Yeah, I'm not sure if I want my future wife in medicine or not. There are definitely a bunch of pros and cons to that scenario...

Just got waitlisted at position #8 at my top choice! And last year they accepted past 30.
 
I accidentally just put peanut butter crunch cereal in my salad instead of croutons. Whoever designed this salad bar has an interesting sense of humor.

Rachelkj is #8 for University of Washington. That's a guaranteed seat unless this year is WAY different than the last 15 years.

On an almost unrelated note, I officially withdrew from my other acceptances and scholarship offers. Turning down that much money was hard to do even to go to my top choice school. When will I ever have that much money offered to me to just go some place?!?!?!

Same. I turned down almost 24,000/year. Medical school admission is a crazy process.

I just need to figure out what to do about the OOS tuition...it's worse than GWU, and I withdrew from GWU because it's too expensive. But I REALLY want to go to UW...so some kind of groveling may ensue.

So did you scan that stuff in or something? I'm relatively sure a lot of my super old pictures are on film until maybe the late 90s or early 2000s.

It was scanned last year or something. My mom sent it to me in an email.

Funny thing. I don't remember ever having that shirt, shorts or hat. I know where it was taken, but that's it.

That's the bad thing about facebook, now. My parents and godmother are on it, so every couple months or so they post some ridiculously old photo of me and my sister on facebook and all my other relatives on facebook (including random ones I've never remember meeting or haven't seen in 15 years) tries to guess which one is which (we're identical twins).

Fun, fun, fun...

So glad that my mother is technologically impaired. Although its a blast to get her texts as she tries to use all the texting shorthand. :laugh:

Seriously? As many other physicians have advised me, go where you'll be most happy. You'll be able to pay it back. You just have to be smart about it.

EDIT: Finally updated my FAFSA with corrected tax info. They take forever to process that stuff and make it transferable. Sheesh.
