Also, I've had a pseudo-hangover all day. Slight, teasing pounding in the back of my head but not a full-blown headache. Felt weird.

Srsly, tho, It's all about finding that sweet spot, that spot where you feel awesome, want to feel more awesome, but know that this awesome outweighs the horror of tomorrow if you felt more awesome now, so you watch a bit more of TLC or History channel before lying down in that nice, fluffy bed of yours: amirite?

Have I even tried Scrimshaw? I actually used to drink a good deal of it, but as I got into the stronger stuff, my tastes changed. Now I can't stand the stuff.

14% is intense! I usually stick to IPAs, and the stuff I drink is usually between 6 and 10%.

Edit: I just saw that SilentSoldier used this phrase first. I will be using this phrase in the future.

14% that's some good stuff. There's a local brewery that makes a 14% scotch ale that is sublime. If you're ever in the OC, maybe I'll take you there and you can enjoy some good beer.

Ain't nothing to be sad about. I've only within the last 2 year's have greatly expanded my knowledge and taste for beer.

And I'm not a snob, I just know what I like and call people out when they're into beers that are obviously inferior.

Ok! So I've been doing a special lecture series this week and I've been crazy busy. Haven't had time to check this thread. I tried to catch up quickly but the convo changes so fast. Lol. Btw, this week you guys go from topic to booze, to topic, to booze, then to topic that turns to booze. Lol. I think we have a problem.

I think I may have a receding hairline. I don't know though because I don't have any pictures of my hairline through the years. I just don't feel like it should be that far back even though it is still at a normal place...

Am I going crazy? I seriously hope I don't bald. Maybe I am making a big deal out of nothing.

I guess I will find out in a few years.

So... the other day I was totally excited to try the Founders Kremlin since beeradvocate gave it such a high rating. I tried it and althought, yes, it is a good beer, their breakfast oatmeal stout is way better. I realized that although ales can be ok, I am more int quads, stouts & baltic porters. Has anyone tried the Three Musketeers' or the Smuttynose' baltic porters? sooo goood 😀
