Yup! Omw out to Knoxville, TN by 2p today to see a friend in vet school at UT. We intend to begin with wings (waiver signing heat, bt dubz) and beer. We then plan to get sloshed, pass out, have breakfast, and I'm back on the road to Nashville so he can study for his anatomy exam on Monday. Then once I'm back in Nashville, grab the 19 y/o gf, go "out," then bring her with me to see some old friends out of town, get a buzz on, pass out, wake up, watch GoT, Californication, and Vikings before reinitiating the work week ritual--you?

LoL I'd say that's a purdy good plan. 🙂
 
So a couple of my schools are asking me to complete the Master Promissory Note and do the Loan Entrance Counseling online BEFORE they give me all the financial numbers.

Is this normal? I thought these docs were the last to be completed and are only to be done for your final school before disbursement of funds, but after they have given you all the numbers?

Weird. Yeah, you're supposed to know what your final figures are as part of your reading material for the MPN. What the heck are they doing?

P.S. Where did you decide to go?

I filled it out for at least one school before they gave me numbers. I thought it was odd too but I just did it.

Haha... cut drinks out? Umm, no. That's how much a round trip ticket was when I looked from San Francisco to Nashville. Scout's honor

Yeah, I'll assume the MPN request, means its all going to be loans anyway.

Sadly, I have not decided where I am going yet. And one of my top contenders will not release financial aid till the end of April :scared: And I'm hoping for a scholarship from them.

Withdrew from a couple of schools already, but too scared to withdraw from others until I see some numbers. Def #firstworldproblems 😳

Aww, c'mon now! I got kicked to the curb! I traded no one! I was traded in for an older, less mature, less financially stable version! I just so happened to find an equally smart and attractive, but younger version. 😛

I'm going back to Syracuse campus to party it up and watch the Orangemen make it to the national championship!!! That place is going to be crazzyyyyy if they win, and I want to be there to witness it.

I am late to this conversation but yes, plane tickets to Nashville were freaking ridiculous. Way more than I paid in the fall...idk what was up with that.
