I just withdrew from two schools and forgot to change the name of the school in the subject in the second email.

*Bangs head against wall*
 
Sad because it was my first acceptance and I wrote them this fairly long withdrawal a month ago and submitted through the message center of the secondary application site, never got a response, and thought I should email them again as I was withdrawing from another today.

If I apply there for residency I'll just change my name
 
I'm now in a spot where I'll be choosing between schools.

For this exact reason I avoided saying the name of the school in my withdrawal emails as much as possible....:laugh:

When I'm feeling a bit down I spend some time reading through the Panic Thread so I can count my blessings and put my mind in perspective. Hopefully I'm not the only one...
 
When I talked to the finaid director at my #1 school a couple weeks ago, I thought she said I'd likely be eligible for a $20k scholarship (need based) spread over the four years. Turns out she meant over $20k for THIS YEAR, and then I reapply for the same every year.
