According to some English friends, people in the US are starting to care about soccer more. Really?

I don't watch the show, but didn't it just start a few months ago?

So many of my friends are blithering on about this show. Why is it so popular?

It's on season 3 right now (started in 2011), and, yeah, it totally did start like eleven weeks ago. There are ten episodes in a season, with each episode being a full hour long.

As for why it's popular... I don't know, you might have to watch an episode or two for yourself. It's not for every, I'll admit.

Cool... I'll look more into it as well. It sounds like Anki could do something similar but you'd have to make your own cards.

I do know that US comentators for soccer are pretty bad, I'd rather listen to an English one. They don't go off into irrelevant tangents. I think my favorite commentators were from a Colombian channel called Caracol.

I don't really watch TV anymore; the last series I watched was House up to season six, when it turned into an absolute soap opera. I read the wiki on GoT--it looks somewhat.......dirty. To say the least.

I tell a lie-- I did watch TV after my last interviews-- something called "Ready for Love" and something on the History Channel with alligators, ponds, and Southerners. I felt my mind literally melting after both, and I blame TV for my lousy interviews. Last time I watched History Channel, the majority of time was taken up with footage from WWII. What the heck happened there? Aliens are apparently responsible for everything, now.

Yeah.... It's on HBO. lol. If you're not into TV, I would still recommend the book series. A Song of Fire and Ice.
 
Has anyone else read about the new Xbox one? I am shocked at how Microsoft is shooting themselves in the foot! Seriously? After owning an Xbox since they first came out, being a paid Xbox live subscriber for six years and even buying two 360s (one after the first died after warranty), I am not going to buy the new "one."

Are highschoolers still in school right now or something? I posted something in one of their threads because somebody is going to the college I graduated from and was confused about classes...I assumed they would all jump on me because I'm going to med school soon but alas, they are not.

In a serious note, Nadal and Djokovic should have played in the FINALS and not the SEMIFINALS. The French Open Officials are a bunch of idiots.
