Turns out we were almost the only people on the mountain. It was great!

Later yesterday I witnessed a car accident in which someone died. I was at a happy hour with folks from the clinic I've been volunteering at for 3 years & one of our docs gave CPR (the crash was less than a block from the bar). Crazy.

Had a stress dream about school last night lol it was like the 3rd day if classes and I had forgotten about it. I was crazy behind and all my classmates thought I was a slacker. Pretty interesting lol

I'm already in danger of overloading myself with ECs during MS1. I'm doing it wrong, aren't I?

I just started going to meetings about designing a new SOM elective course to launch in either winter term or next fall (It's about a poorly-understood patient population that I am a part of), I may end up organizing a conference in the spring, and I just joined AMSA...

But one of my scholarships requires that I do a fairly serious community service project every year, so this is basically going to be par for the course for the next 4 years :scared: One of this foundation's past scholars at UW SOM started the UW-Test program.

To be fair, our SOM hasn't sent us anything since admission, with the exception of the training & immunization requirements. That elective course came out of a connection I made at second look.

I gotta get on that & see what the application cycles for summer research look like. Some of those things give nice stipends! :naughty:
