This is what I am doing everyday. Too many TV shows, not enough time. Must watch all the TV.
I like it this.

Stores do have security cameras, but they don't use face recognition to automatically check you into the store on facebook as you walk in the door. I'm sure stuff like that is coming, and theoretically you can opt out of facebook, but it's going to get harder to do that. Businesses & landlords already kind of look at you like you might be a serial killer if you don't have a facebook.
Anyway, I'm sure in 20 years I'll be that old person that's like "BACK IN MY DAY, you could go to the corner store without all of your friends knowing what brand of condoms you just bought!"
Can't say. Too embarrassed.
Real....Housewives....of....?
A glass of red wine a day is good for you isn't it? At least that's what I'm telling my parents.
What shows are you guys catching up on?

Moving to Seattle on Saturday.
Totally sold my washer/dryer before the move for $185. I bought them for $100.
Profit!

I am so jealous. Seattle is one of my favorite cities, is not my most favorite!
I'm moving to Rochester tomorrow. Goodbye city/suburban life as I know it, hello small town.
Which Rochester?
The one in mini soda
Ah I see. Well it is definitely not a city but should still be a lot of fun! Good luck
Thanks! Are you already moved into LA/Westwood?
No... I am still in San Francisco trying to get the last bit in before I say good bye.
So I just bought a brand new road bike for commuting to and from school...
who knew that a bike could cost so dang much!?

Good luck! I had a going away party a few days ago and it didn't hit me that I was moving pretty far away until then (I'm living in Irvine at the moment)
Tell me about it....my racing bike with upgrades cost about 12K.
saving for a bike in Chicago...why so expensive!?
Bike > Furniture
doing research for bikes online as a noob doesn't help either. Bikes are like photo equipment--everyone online wants to you get the pro, 1K+ equipment. Because everything below the top tier sucks
I almost bought into the hype...then I realized I would only be taking it to and from work. So I went with an entry level bike. Still $500! It's quite pretty though. Now for a beastly lock so I don't get it stolen!
Yep thats how it is. They will always push new equipment on you saying its "50 grams lighter" like it really matters to somebody who doesnt race the TDF. I bought my wife an aluminum framed entry level for her to get into riding on and the equipment on that bike isnt bad at all. No need to go all out if you are only looking to commute.
how long have you been racing?
About a year. Didnt do anything super special last year (MCAT and applying to school). I plan on doing more this year and maybe even get into racing a tour in my hometown. I've been riding seriously for about 3 years, its the best!

thats awesome. yeah I'm hoping to get some time to do some biking when I'm at school. Heard there are some good trails and bike paths so figured it's worth checking out/adding to my workout routine!
Just changed my status to 'Medical Student.'
I got a $400 bike and I love it. At the time I was mad I spent so much but now I am glad. However, the bike shop was trying to get me to drop $2k on a bike.
I dropped a little under 1k on a bike about 4 years ago...it's invincible. It's a touring bike, so it's basically a sturdier-built road bike.
Bike people on the internet are ridiculous. They will spend pages arguing about why aluminum frames are better than steel, or why this steel is better than that steel, or on which joint welding method makes the best frames, or how it's impossible to go anywhere on anything that's not made of 100% carbon fiber. Back away...

I've been tempted, but classes dont start til Monday for me...
Whatevs. I've started some projects at the school so I'm changing mine! Lol.
Also, compared my before and after pics today for the very first time. I'm literally almost in tears.
They have already gave me homework so maybe I could justify it...

Hehehe...if I start reading the suggested summer book does that make me a med student?

Apparently camp fires are now prohibited at the campground at the grand canyon that I have reservations at... I'm not even sure I want to go anymore. Camping without a fire? That sounds miserable.
