Lucky. I haven't had a drink since anatomy finished. The good news is that means way less calories and headaches. The bad news is that also means less fun.

Next weekend, though, I will be plastered. My best man is coming in and we are going to go to bars on two nights of the weekend or will be drinking at my apartment.

I took a few hour break from studying today to buy a couch. Brand new. My fiancée was tired of siting in a 15 year old broken couch and ikea chair set.

At least it is super comfortable. And it has a hide a bed so I have somewhere to sleep when I am in trouble. 🙂

This happened to me recently, I received an email that the exam results were posted and my heart started racing about as fast as I can remember. I opened up the results, and it was one of the best feelings ever.
 
The badges are back! However, I don't have a 2 year badge despite being a member for 2 years. Lame! I want that badge!
 
We did the male and female pelvic exams on models. My finger got stuck during the prostate exam. So embarrassing. :-/
 
Oh no, we were on page 2! Taking a break to chime in and say how happy I am that my cadaver was not too fat. Where other groups were taking extra time to shave off fat, we were in the thick of things. :cigar:

Yep, same here. We get done way before most people. Also, we have less fat trimmings in our zip lock bag which is nice.

I hope I get that lucky tomorrow. Still, I'll consider myself lucky if I don't vomit or pass out over the corpse

You've just summarized my feelings about anatomy perfectly. Takes me seven hours to read through the slides of one lecture. :dead:

On a side note, I love these new emoticons; they're adorable. 🙂
 
They just dumped all the forearm muscles on us for dissection tomorrow. Anatomy is becoming less fun.

Yeah, arm/forearm/hand is (i think) one of the roughest sections. Hang in there.
 
Anyone started doing research already? I still have no idea what to do.

Same here. I have no real interest in research or academic medicine. Instead I'm helping to get a student-run free clinic started in our community. 🙂
