Our embryology professor-- "Embryology is so simple, you don't even need to go over the material to learn it." Seems legit.

I don't think that's going to be a problem. Thick accent+ teaching like Speedy Gonzalez on a caffeine high= nobody can understand what he says.

Pulled 365 today. End of the year goal of 405 is within reach.

The scary part is it went up fairly easily. I think I could have ground out 375..

Stop making me feel weak. I haven't pulled that kind of weight in like 1.5 years. Maybe by the end of M1...

Just went back to see all the posts I've made that have likes on them. Only took me a couple of minutes. I am not popular. 😀

These are the pictures we get to use for histology lecture.

Seriously? Why the heck are they using microsoft paint to create these pictures when there are way better ones on google.

Lmfao. That's some true to life representation of the layers of epidermis if I've ever seen it (this is gonna be awkward if they were drawing something else...).

Nope. You nailed it. You can see all the layers, along with the losing of nuclei and compressing of cells.

I still think it is stupid that they do this. It isn't the first time it has happened either.

Gotta hand it to them, tho. It's detailed.. They drew the desmosomes in the stratum spinosum. Besides... Drawing in paint is a lost art. Hahaha

At least that's what I imagined that drawing to be representing. 😉
Seriously though, no histo here! Heaven knows we have enough outside of this thread, amirite?

I am just thankful that our histology has a virtual lab. That means no microscopes, just a neat little website that lets us zoom in where ever we want. Plus, everything is in focus! What is this magic?!?!?!?

That's how ours is too thankfully. Pictures of real slides, but all done for you. Plus, it's not a separate class. We have a few slides thrown in here and there with our MCBM class.

Same here--but we have histo (microanatomy labs) all year, I think.

Gross lab--how do people cut the face of the cadaver? Just cutting the back of the neck made me nauseous.
