I got my hurr did then went to work.
Then after work went to grab a drink with coworkers.
Ran into a non coworker friend and his ex girlfriend attacked me.
So I looked at her like she was crazy and she went "how would you feel if I hit on xyz." ( we used to be friends way back when)
But xyz was just my exes teammate so I looked at her like she was dumb and she stormed off angrily..


It was a funny night.

Excitement in the lab: turns out the graduate student whose project I took over (she graduated...a shock, TBH) contaminated our antibodies so all of our work this summer is null.

Ah... I know that feel of antibodies not working. We spent almost a whole year reworking our IHC protocols cause one of our antibodies just wouldn't work properly... 👎

In other news, no IIs to wake up to this morning. 🙁 Hope one pops up in my inbox today.... :xf:

We're starting an MEG study with typical and high-functioning ASD children this weeendk 😎 :scared: I've only worked with MRI/EEG so this should be interesting to say the least.

I work with kids with ASD, but I haven't done any imaging stuff with them. Sounds cool though.

I am sooooo jealous. I just moved to San Diego and haven't found a job yet. I'm going insane with all the free time I have. You would think it would make me MORE productive, but it doesn't 🙁.

I work two jobs pretty much 5 days a week but I'm headed to Florida Tuesday for 2 weeks and am planning on doing justtttt that. So excited. Relaxation time.

I know the feeling... I have a whole cell suspension at 2 pm...and really nothing to do before then besides constantly check my email....yay me?

I'm a tiny blonde person.... So I highly doubt that's the case. I'm told I look like a Jenna marbles with brown eyes. Probably because I make awkward faces at people too often. Oh well :meanie:
