My lazy ass hasn't gotten a job so maybe that's why I'm so bored haha. I was gonna put it off until my parents made me, but now I'm at the point where a little extra money would be awesome. And the food is a DEFINITE plus haha. I probably gained 10 lbs over the holidays. Shoot me.

Thanks! :happy: And I did just get accepted to the Medical College of Georgia MD/PhD program, my first choice. I'm still freaking out haha.

This whole time I never clicked on that thread because I didn't realize it was about physical weight. I thought it was another one of those "which admissions factors are weighted most important." Makes sense now, haha.

I read the entire thing because I wanted to see how quickly someone would bring up the board + bench metric, but it never happened. So disappointed.

I feel you, I gained 5-10 lbs between Thanksgiving and New Years. With the cold snap we're having now though, I can justify not going outside and exercising 😛.

That's what I'm doing. We have this awesome trail near my house that I usually run, but... Well, the holidays happened. And now it's cold. The other morning I tried to get active but the second I stepped outside I was like "F*CK THIS." Haha remember that scene from The Day After Tomorrow where the temperature gets near absolute zero or something and the helicopter and pilots freeze midair? It was pretty much that cold outside.

My boss recently asked me to update and fix our lab web page too. I ended up turning it into a bad personal blog type thing (yay for basic html knowledge) and writing stupid backstories for all the ppl in our group. It uses wordpress formatting so it's easy. Makes me appreciate those who make things from scratch that much more 😕

Are you a bigger fan of the movie or the graphic novel? I enjoyed the movie, but a lot of friends tell me it doesn't compare to the novel.

I personally find them compatible. The movie ending was much better than the graphic novel, in my opinion.

This. Really loved the film ending, it was better. I'm not a fan of Snyder's ridiculous use of slow-motion, though. It was just too much lol. It worked well for 300 but eh i don't know
