I believe they upload it because it is an official committee linked account. They sent ME an email saying that they have sent it to interfolio, but interfolio is not showing it. Maybe they will update it tomorrow or something.

Congratulations on your interviews! You must be pumped for the coming months – things have definitely gotten real. Hope both pan out into early acceptances!

Just waiting for more IIs to filter out and into everyone's inbox. From previous years' threads it seems the II ball really gets rolling around mid-August as the majority of schools conclude their app reviews.

Thanks! My first interview is at ECU, the second at WVU. Not that prestigious, but I'm going for "fit" more than anything else. And awesome, I'd rather relax/get accustomed to my scribe job/start interview prep for a month than stress out over getting (or not getting) more II's.
 
Man ... I have been stuck on one question on USC's secondary for the past 12 hours or so ............. I really don't know what to write ...

I'm thinking September 9th, but I'm waiting until this weekend to confirm. What date are you?

Haven't contacted student hosting yet, but should get on that ahaha. Currently trying to piggyback with my Pitt interview into one trip out east so I can save time/cash. As per @wolverine2015grad, I think I'll also be waiting to book flights until 2 weeks before in the off chance I get another September-based east coast interview.

I am going on the 2nd. Maybe that's a good idea, but I have already pressed the trigger button. I'm on the East Coast so it's not really a big deal but man this is going to break my bank account.

Excellent! You were a super-early interview, so I bet you get to be there on the first interview day! Hope that bumps your chances up 😉 The 9th is the first day open for me.

I'm kind of envious of all you east coasters; you definitely have a higher concentration of medical schools. Doing the trans-continental flight every time I get an II is going to be a beezy. -__- Luckily I can drive to most Californian schools. Sunflower recently mentioned how horrible interviews must be for people living in Hawaii. 🙁

I'm in the South, so not really East Coast like you think. I really hope the IIs come together so I can plan accordingly.

Thanks, @No Limits! I'm sure you and all the other SDN superstars you listed will get many interviews soon. I just want to clarify that my 2 interviews are at West Virginia and ECU, so nothing huge (latter is an NC state school). I applied very broadly but more on the mid to lower tier side. I didn't apply to a bunch of the higher tier schools like many of you did. And what have I been doing? Just quick turnaround on my secondaries, as in same day or 1 day after receipt, no prewriting but lots of essay recycling, no major revisions of essays for weeks lol.

I've been waiting these past few days for you to pop into this thread with news of an II. Hope that day is coming soon; you definitely deserve it. I'm very excited for August and all the IIs you guys will start collecting!

I'm utterly shocked with how my cycle has gone thus far. (Still no acceptances, so nothing counts though 😉 ). I went into this cycle expecting nothing, so even getting one II has already exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to see where everyone ends up going within the coming year and I look forward to crossing paths on the interview trail with a bunch of you. As I've said before, all your support has been invaluable.

After looking at some of the previous years' school-specific threads, some of the application superstars didn't even get interviews until late August or (gasp) even October. You folks are going to be doing more than fine!

Ace! Don't minimize your accomplishments! WV and ECU are very fine schools and I am excited for all the love you're going to get this cycle. You're incredibly smart for selecting schools based on personal "fit," and I'm sure all your schools are really going to appreciate that.

It's not so much about the school name (this is coming from someone who went to a UG that I can't even find on the US News list), but rather how well its environment suits your needs and what you accomplish while you are there. Even the so-called "low tier" med schools are excellent institutions and still a challenge to be accepted to.

Idk Ace... from what I've seen so far, applicants who get interviews first tend to be really competitive and unique. You have two interviews invites already and the cycle barely started. I think you may have to come to terms with the idea that you may just be a bad ass lol. We all have one goal and that is to get into a medical school and that is no easy feat. Considering how many people don't even get interviews I'd say you are looking like a real superstar right now my friend. Do not sell your self short! And btw those schools are awesome. Good luck on those interviews!

Haha, thanks. No interview yet but soon I hope. I'm loving the way things are shaping out for you guys right now because I remember a few months ago some of you guys were worried about being competitive and now you guys are killing the cycle.

And I got to say, I'm loving the support system here because only a few of my friends are premeds. When I asked a few of my close friends about my school list a few months ago I got responses like "what the hell is a Washu and a Pritzker?" And "Why does Albert Einstein have a school? He wasn't even a doctor.. sounds sketchy" "Go to UMiami, everyone knows where that is." 🙄 Haha, they mean well...

None of my friends were enthused about my interviews. "Turn them down," they said. "You'll be too far away from us," they said.
Most of my close friends are also Berkeley grads, so they keep insisting that I "need to go to Berkeley for medical school." 😵 You went to Berkeley for 4 years. Don't you know they don't have a medical school?

However, when they go on about their policy/consulting/business/finance/investment/moonshine-making ventures, I get to play the idiot.

Everyone here is fabulous and I'm looking forward to celebrating your IIs and acceptances 🙂 and I'm with everyone else Ace, your IIs are a big deal and you should be so proud of yourself! I think that every med school in this country offers unique and great opportunities, and none are less impressive than others.

I don't have many pre med friends either. None of them (or my SO) have heard of most of my schools haha including the ones that I'm interviewing at. They thought it was pretty funny that I'm applying to a school named after dr Seuss though!

I've been good (I think?) My summer has been crazayyyy. I pretty much have close to a 40 hr week, not including MCAT studying. So I've been quite busy. And kinda had to give up my daily perusal of sdn. My summer has just been workworkworkwork, you know the drill.

Interesting. I'm gonna have to keep my eye on @Lawper. My test date was originally August 15th but I pushed it back to Sept. 4th. Because I'm soft. And freaking out just a bit. Again, y'all know the drill. 😀

Lol, the difference is NY Med is a real show about doctors, nurses, and sometimes med students. It's from the same people who made Hopkins and Boston Med. I do like these shows and follow them. You should definitely check them out on your down time.
