Even these gummy bears?

I love all things Haribo! Except for the above.. too terrified to try it.

That first review had me crying. best. review. EVER.

I have all my secondaries for the next year in a text file, and I will admit that though I know it helps to start early, I have very little motivation, if any at all, to start it now...I have barely finished my greatest challenge one lol

@sunflower18 you're a medical scribe, correct? For what company? And how far in advance did you have to apply for it? I want to scribe for my gap year but have no idea how soon I should fill out the application...

I was! I left to focus on school and my senior thesis 🙁 but I still miss it a lot. It was a fantastic, wonderful experience!

It was a small local company that got bought shortly after I left :/ I applied about 6 months before I started. And got officially hired two months before I started.

Hello all, just started watching this thread. You guys crack me up 🙂

I did not flirt with Kayla though...

At least not directly... hey, she's a superstar role model!
..... haha..... dude i have to pay $20 to change this darn username. yippee, just what I need with all these secondaries and what not

Well i'm sorry. I shouldn't have searched (or checked) you out but you seemed epic so i couldn't resist... and WHAM i got knocked out of my chair nearly out cold with your epicness emanating out of my monitor screen.

And should've been a gold/lifetime donor :nono: (though there's a way to get a name change for free...)

this is what I call flirting...

How? I was complimenting her in a non-romantic... uh.. friendly way.

C'mon, you're a guy. You should know the difference between complimenting and flirting.

False. Guys don't know the difference. Wouldn't I know?

Lies. I expected better from you. And we can pay off your debt through a tea party!

Speaking of tea parties, when I was down in SF I saw a very cute tea house where they served pastries on a three-tiered stand and little fancy teacups and people were in cosplay. (I thinkkk that was because of the big ramen festival and not that people normally cosplay to eat there). Felt like I was in an anime...super weird (and cool!)

I think I'm going to apply to three more schools... realized today that for my 4 "safety" schools I'm above 90% percentile and that might not bode well (though I honestly really like the schools!). Do you think this is excessive? 18 schools total seems well within the norm here (I've got 15 now). Getting a little pressure from immediate and extended family to "aim higher" 😕

If you are financially able to I think you should go for it. This process seems really unpredictable so adding a few more schools can't hurt. Considering you are applying with your S/O I think you should hit up the NY schools.

The broke college student in me is saying "noo!! 400$ more??" but I guess I can eat instant noodles for the rest of the year 😢 hahahah jk.
My current schools are mostly NY / Chicago and I'm leaning Cornell (NY), Columbia (NY) and Case (ah...eff you, Cleveland. far away from everything, even OSU.). Tried really hard to love Pritzker but I don't think it's a good fit.

Lol my mom and aunt are trying to convince me that applying with my S/O is a stupid idea because we're "competing against each other". Ha ha. It's like an extra drop of water in a tsunami.

Lol, I agree with Cornell and Columbia because you are already applying to NYU and Sinai. OSU... idk...
If you really want to be aim higher, Harvard and Boston U are not too far from each other.

welcome @spockprime! And @turayza, if you can afford it, I think that sounds like a good plan. I applied to 30, so you're still fewer than me! 🙂

I'm still ignoring the rest of the conversation......

I knew @silverturtle was being dirty. Wow.

:welcome:

This is about as dirty as the show (Community) gets. 😛

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I also applied to about 30 schools 😱, but hopefully once these secondaries are over with, it won't be too bad. Speaking of which... I guess I ought to be writing.

Man I applied to 10....y'all are making me feel like a loser haha
