pretty early but good if you can knock it out of the way
summer before junior
that's early?Why so early?
that's early?
Well in high school i was a serious underachiever, this time in college it's going to be different. I want to be a head of the tide.most of the 2019's don't even know sdn exists. I'm surprised you guys find this so early even the hsdn members.
I found this not too long ago.
i'm going to take it after my sophomore year too. I'd have the prerequisites done by then anyway.most people take it May of their junior year or after their junior year not the summer after your sophomore year.

yea just be sure to record these achievements so when it comes time too applying you can mention them. 👍
dude how could they not take me now, it's impossible

send in your app now dude
Besides it would be really nice knowing what you got on your MCAT a year ahead.
If you get anything less than a 100%, don't even think about MD. Forget even about DO. Your only choice is Caribbean.
if you do poorly the first time you can always retake.Besides it would be really nice knowing what you got on your MCAT a year ahead.
👍👍 three months of living in the library!!if i could go back a tad that is what i would do...take the mcat early...
instead the only option i have as of now is too take the mcat july after i submit my app and then wait till my scores come back then update amcas with more schools depending on my score.

me neither...at least not yet.
I kinda want one though, it would be nice to have someone sharing the same interests/goals. We could help each other.its all good i dont want any they're fu***** annoying in real life. I sat by a few in class before..all URM.. non-stop talking about the mcat and courses etc. They have no idea what they are talking about. I never say anything.
👍I kinda want one though, it would be nice to have someone sharing the same interests/goals. We could sabotage each other.

there are pre med students in my chem classes..but I dont take them seriously because thanks to SDN..i know more than they ever willthis is literally my secret weapon in terms of medical school..oh and a bunch of mentors 👍

its kinda hard to share interests/goals when they don't know sh**. The majority of other "premeds" i know, know nothing.
And i don't feel like helping them out, they can find the time to do their research, theres not a lot too the whole process.
i knew a lot before i even come to sdn, the only thing i didn't know much about was the LOR and sending them etc.
But other then that all this info for med school can be found by research on your own.
Sdn does help tho, i wish i found it earlier back in high school or something
research? like..on the internet? haha I did that and it directed me here..where did you go?
Sdn always popped up but back then i didn't even know what a forum was! lmao so i never bothered with this website because i thought it was just a bunch of people rambling on what they think is right. I was looking at specific med school websites and other sites i found that said i need clinical work, good ec's etc and all that which was kinda obvious.
applying to medical school is like applying to college..all over again. 😳
👎yep and same with residency 👎
