After all this time I helped you, this is how you repay me... Thanks a lot, "friend".

Wow. Then drop.
Yeah so I'm not following Agent B on this one either... Hahaha
Neurotroph, can you try getting involved with a major EC after dropping the course so you can say you were still busy?
I already work nearly 20 hours a week in lab. I would do more, but my school doesn't allow students to work more than that during the school year. Does that seem busy enough? Probably not since a lot of people already do that with a full course load... I think volunteering at the hospital more is def something I could do.
Thanks for the help, sunflower18 and Agent B. I went ahead and dropped it.
My adviser didn't even respond to my email. Your job is to advise!

He's been great up until this point.
To be fair, he's a busy surgeon and I sent him the email last night.
A physician is your academic advisor?! Whaaaat.
A physician is your academic advisor?! Whaaaat.
yep. I got lucky. But I won't get to have him for the next two years because I'm required to have someone from the biology department. Such a stupid rule.
That makes no sense. Your physician advisor overrides the importance of any "advisor" from the bio department.
Exactly. Because of the requirement I changed my adviser to one of the professors that they recommend to students who are doing the neurobio concentration. It was awful. I felt no connection with her, she didn't try to get to know me as an individual, and I had to wait in a line outside of her office to get my schedule signed. She left at the end of last semester semester, so I got my original adviser from freshman year back again at the start of this semester. He actually knows my name and my goals, he tries to meet me for lunch or coffee, he gave me his cell phone number, and he actually knows what it takes to get to med school since he teaches anatomy at one/is a successful physician! I got to participate in one of the anatomy labs at the med school thanks to him.
Now I'm getting angry.
God, I want your adviser. Mine doesn't really care about me. You can putz about in his office to look at all the different critters he's got with some fellow dorky biology majors but he's doing work all the time. He forgets what year I'm in. 😕
In fairness, due to AP testing, I could either be in this class or 2020. It'll all depend. But when he guesses I'm a junior and I haven't been there for a year, it's a little disheartening.
So, how are we today?
Bump

1/10. Too oily.
Everyone's a critic. 🙄
If I looked like that I'd be strutting around in a cute little number every day. But that pose makes her look like she was in a photo shoot for a varicose vein clinic. x/
How is everyone? I have to go to class tomorrow, I can't believe my Spring Break's over and done with.
wow spring break already? Mine's not until next week.
Yeah, I get out May 1st. 🙂
But, yeah, it's so draining, the thought that I have to go back. I'm so not excited for class... x/
Mine's not til next week either, but I'm skipping Bio lab on Friday to leave for vacation. Yay.
Also, hello 2019! Haven't been on SDN in a long time.
Thanks for the welcome!! I'm considering applying for Class of 2020 as well, depending on how my classes transfer to a four-year 😀
is this better?

North Carolina. To give an accurate distance, it's 3,000 miles away, which translates to 45 hours of uninterrupted driving (no gas/food/pee breaks/sleep). People that do it take anywhere from 4 days to two weeks depending on how comfortable you are with driving long distances.
Woah that's a lot of driving -.-
