I think most of us just finished ochem! Or are about to finish. But I'm studying for the MCAT this summer 🙂 and working as a scribe. What about you?

oh. scribing. sigh, my local scribe america had no more spots left. I'll be volunteering this summer. but yeah, in my school bio comes before o chem and I need to get Mcat on track. study schedules anyone?

i'm only 4 days into the 3-month MCAT study schedule and I'm already so far behind. This past weekend was so busy.

Oh my god, I feel you. I'm two weeks in and I feel so overwhelmed because I've been working 50 hours a week. On the bright side, 20-30 of those hours per week will soon be free!

I decided to do the September 7th date instead. So that gives me a week and a half before I start the schedule again. But that also means I'll be starting the day my summer program starts. oh boy.
 
How do you guys feel ready for the mcat so early? In my school, most of us haven't even taken orgo yet.

Ochem is definitely a sophomore class for my school. Physics can be sophomore or junior. Bio and gen chem are freshman. So theoretically, students at my school are done with prereqs at the end of sophomore year.

I'm done with all of my prereqs already except for half of physics II. I originally planned to take it next year, but the summer program I'm doing provides a free Kaplan class so I don't want that to go to waste.
 
Hey guys, I was originally scheduled to be class of 2018, as my plans were to enter med school straight out of undergrad. However, due to wanting a break and time to travel, I will be taking a year off after undergrad before med school. Does this mean I join this thread now?

I decided to apply to medical school next year. I graduated from college in 2011, and will return back to the States this summer. When I return, I am going to take my MCAT 😀! I am ready to get this beast over with.

This is my first post here. I'm a non-traditional student finishing up my BS in biology. I'm a 35 year old mom to 3 great kids. I currently have a 4.0 and plan on taking the MCAT next May. I'm so excited to be on this journey!!

Hey everyone, I'm also an anticipating c/o 2019.

Was reading (on one of these pages) about people getting out of classes really late in the year.

I still have 1 week then finals...the quarter system really starts to take its toll when its so nice outside. Spending my time on here to procrastinate lab write-ups as much as possible.

I wish you luck with your MCAT and the rest of your biology degree. I can't imagine the stress of going to school while also taking care of 3 kids! I'm definitely impressed 👍
