it only happens when your post only consists of capital letters. Like, no lower case letters in the whole post.
90. I'm so oldddddddddddd
I just registered for the MCAT gah. No backing out now.
oops sorry I never noticed this
signed up for 8/22
Hi 🙂 I'm new to SDN. I guess you could say I am semi-non traditional. Planning on applying next cycle. Glad there is a thread for us already.
I know, right? It's insane!
Ugh I hate that the MCAT is changing so it really makes a lot of difference whether I apply in this cycle or not. x/
Lol and I've got to make the money for that test.
No it doesn't. Just take it before Spring 2015.
Yeah, I suppose that's true.
Lol for some reason I thought it was changing in 2014, silly me. ^^;
How have you been?
Alright so far. Busy lately though 🙁 you?
No worries!!
One week after me! How is studying going for you?
And hello to everyone! I know, crazy to think that this cycle that just started is the last one before we apply. Aahhh. I'm used to reading threads about secondaries and LORs and app errors and going, "pfft I don't need to worry about that!" But now I'm reading them with a totally new perspective because that'll be me in 12 months!!
I shadowed an ID doc yesterday. It was so boring. Though 3 hours isn't really representative of the whole specialty I suppose.
Hello, everyone. A little late on finding this.

Hi!!
Welcome. Just be careful of silverturtle
Hmmmm....
I'm back. From like a month+ absence. I was in Panama and didn't have internet access. 😀
I think I'm going to take the MCAT in Jan or Feb of next year.
sunflower18, how long will you have been studying for by the time you take the MCAT?
Welcome!

Welcome back!!!!! How was it?? Vacation or productive time away?
Good plan!!
Ummm 3.5 months. I'm really tired of studying. 4 weeks left!
Drawing gifs?
Productive. I was taking a field course to help with my thesis (?) for next year.
I've started gathering study materials and I'm getting slightly nervous. I think I'm gonna start 4 months in advance...? maybe?
And you've got this 🙂 Think of the rewards from your hard work!
So when the fall semester starts? sunflower endorses you.

That's so exciting!!! What's your major again? That's really super cool. Are you graduating next year??
Oohh wow okay! You're going to study for the MCAT while in school then? I couldn't do that, so kudos! What materials are you getting?
Thanks for the encouragement!!
Bio, with an emphasis on marine biology. And I'm not graduating until 2015. I just have to do all my thesis preparations this year so I can do my research for it next summer.
And yup, studying for it while in school. I know everyone is like, oh nooo, you cant do that, but I really have no other choice. I'm hoping to take fall semester off from crew and take a relatively "easy" course load. Hopefully I'm not setting myself up for failure :/
And I'm planning to follow SN2ed method and currently in the process of collection all those materials. What materials are you using?
Oh okay! Cool!! How exciting!
Oh all right. I was concerned about school + mcat + crew for you. I know that I just couldn't do it during school because I work ~40 hours a week during the semester. If you don't have that to worry about, it should be manageable!
Just so you know, sn2ed is INTENSE. people here are studying 8+ hours every day for three months while on it. It simply was impossible for me, as I have been scribing all summer. I used a TPR course, TPR content books, TPR SWB, TPRH VWB, TPR online content, and all the TBR books.
I'm hoping the 4 month version isn't as killer as the 3 month. If it is, I can always modify it to fit my schedule. Crew is my big killer so without it I should have a lot more free time.
For drawing gifs? yes.
For MCAT studying? yeah. I think. Though I'm still debating between Jan and Feb. I'm leaning toward Feb...I think....

Oh that's good then. I'm sure you can make it work!!! I'm so envious of people that study for two weeks and pull out 38s.
