changed my mind, majoring in Integrative Neuroscience...😀😀😀(heard biochem is a gpa killer.)

Yeah, it's like the electrical engineering speciality on the BME track. Take things like Digital signal processing, bioinstrumentation etc.

Digital signal processing is magic. I don't know how, but whenever I select the "Clear Noise" option, all the crap on the oscilloscope goes away. I bet they have little elves trapped in the system doing all the work.

Oh I get those same doubts but then I just think. Why would I be on sdn secretly lurking Mdapps and anticipating graduating in 2019 if I didn't think I could make it :idea:
 
And I was in between neuroscience and psych for my major but why give myself more science courses if I don't need them so I went with psych.

So I basically made a deal with myself and put a GPA floor for the first year (If I can't do well in undergrad, what are my chances of doing well in med school and getting the specialty I specifically want)... Going to give it my all and if I flop, re-assess how capable I am and prob switch major.

WHOAH lol aren't you projecting way into the future? And are you sure there is even a correlation between these things?

Alright I'm just going to be straight and say I want the ROAD specialties. They're super competitive and all those kids prob had 4.0 and high mcats before getting into med school. I don't want to set myself in an inescapable future.

I've heard of surgeons and doctors working <40 hours a week and still making a respectable amount of money.

In either case, we'll be living practically forever in the future (Assuming we don't have WWIII or a Zombie Invasion):

200 doesn't sound like a lot, but with the rate at which we're advancing, we'll probably figure out how to live for a million years by the time we turn 150.

So don't worry about time and the future. You'll have plenty of time later on to do what you want. (I've somehow convinced myself of this)
 
Of course I'm not suggesting that as my plan b
