Then again, curriculum aside there were lots of things that Duke had which Vandy did not.

Both schools have a short pre clinical track.

Duke has a masters for the third year, but you still have to pay for med school tuition while you are paying for your masters tuition. it's odd.

Duke had better facilities and hospital options for clinical rotations I think. Also da boyfriend lives in north carolina so Duke has that going for it.
 
These revisions are the gift that keeps on giving. Goal for today: get them done so I can get a decent nights sleep (~7 hrs) so I don't have to bail on this date tomorrow night that I've been looking forward to since the weekend...

You know if you go to Duke, you'll have to become a Duke fan and join in the "Duke is better than UNC" debauchery, right? It's almost mandatory (spoken from a NC resident who gets crap from my friends on both sides if I don't pick a side lol).

So excited, but so so so tired.
 
Between two pre-II rejections this am, waiting to hear from Dartmouth now that my background check went through, waiting to hear from Duke as calls go out, and waiting to hear from UCD now that the interview wait list is moving...I think I may have an anxiety-induced heart attack today.

Cross your fingers for me! No idea when I'll hear though. Guessing it'll be in the next 2-3 weeks since that'll be 8 weeks since the interview date. I don't remember the last time I wanted something so bad.

Outside of finishing these effing revisions...

(Oh, and I probably wouldn't go to 2nd look lol)

Probably equally as hard as getting tickets for a Tar Heels game. I'm not a dedicated fan of either team, and I've never been to a game unlike all my high school classmates.
 
I'd just like to give a shoutout to @ElCapone for being, apparently, a well-behaved poster. Why? Because he started this thread, and since he's still around we don't have to see BANNED every time it's on the front page of the forum. The Classes of 2018, 2020, and 2021 can't say the same.

As an aside, I remember when I first made an account for this site, I couldn't believe how many people had been banned. It seemed to me embarrassing, like evidence of a malignant culture. Now I sometimes have the dark wish that I could unilaterally ban people myself.
 
I got home at 3 last night after taking a lyft because I finished my analysis at 2 30. Gotta shower and run back to work because I have like 2.5-3 hrs to rewrite a bunch of **** and put it on my bosses desk this evening.

I really hope I don't have to come back to work after my date tonight :/

Yes! You have two more days until the next season is released! It's somewhat surreal to see House of Cards ads in the DC metro 🙂
 
Also...the Survivor 30 Premier is tonight on CBS!!! For anyone who's ever thought about watching the show, you should watch this season. It's supposed to be the best one yet.
