I LOVE CLOTHES. I definitely don't have RTC-caliber fashion sense, but it doesn't stop me from frequenting my local thrift/consignment shops. Not to pull the hipster card, but I was doing this waaaaay before Macklemore got everyone flocking to Goodwill. 😉

Never did clothing swaps because I've got real bizarre measurements. 🙁 I guess it would be okay if I went to an elastic-waistbanded-sweatpants-and-oversized-sweater clothing swap?

So many happiness all around the med schools today! It's us in 4-8 "short" years! (As far as I know the students at the 3 year program at NYU won't go through match process)

Woke up this morning to find an acceptance email from an MD school. Shouted "I'm going to medical school!!!" and my dogs started barking and gave me kisses. LOL Hugged my mom, texted my friends and family, emailed my professors and doctors, and accepted the offer.
I seriously thought I was going to reapply since my application was a bit late (completed late August) and I was rejected post-interview in November. I didn't hear back from any schools until end of February. I quickly made the flight plans and accommodations, did mock interviews, and 4 days after the interview day got an acceptance.
A huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I am excited to join you all in becoming a physician!!

I got a cashmere sweater, a polo long sleeve shirt, and a couple of ties. I sent sometime a pair of wolf vs goat pants, and a couple of rad shirts.

I'm applying for some short time job, and am updating my resume right now. I'm REALLY tempted to put the name of my future med school right at the top of the resume with "MD, expected 2019". LOL it feels so good. But how douchey will that look on the resume?

96%! I peaked after getting 15/16 right on the first day (did not foresee the UAB upset, but got everything else right).

And I don't know how Kansas got a #2 seed. They kinda suck this year. Almost everyone was predicting Wichita State to beat them.

Right? Every time I looked at my MDApp I was like, where did I find the energy back then to apply to so many schools? I wrote how many secondaries?! I must have a few hundred files dedicated to various versions of essays organized in myriad folders...
And good luck with your MPH application!!! Hopefully they don't ask for a couple hundred dollars, require traveling, and make you wait for 9 months for the decision. 😛

Being home this weekend has just shown me how done with work I am...

Off to London and Dublin this week and leaving my job in just about 2 months to travel. Time to start penny pinching after I'm back from the UK so I can make the most of it.

Also hoping to give a little traction to my side business so I can fund and pick up some clothes that fit.
