graduate school classes start tomorrow and i thought i made a schedule i was happy with until my advisor questioned my loyalty to my department (i have no idea why. it put me in a bad mood and now i'm freaking out anyway) and then made some suggestions that actually made some sense.
i'm currently enrolled in:
evolution of infectious diseases
reproductive biology
nutrition and growth in maternal and child health
introduction to international health
life course perspectives on health
i'm thinking of switching out international health for molecular biology, which is a weak area of mine. my only concern is that then i'm in 3 science-intensive classes, 1 moderately intense class, and 1 social science class. i already switched from 2 science and 3 social to this schedule.
my advisor suggested molecular biology as a complement to a MCAT class that i will be starting since he said that would help me more. he's probably right about this, but the goal is to also keep my GPA high.
thoughts?
