I am looking at taking Biochemistry online at Oregon State University (Dr. Ahern seems like a great instructor) due to fact that my local university has an ~18 person waiting list at the moment and because UNE Online has gotten mixed reviews. What confuses me though is that OSU runs its classes on the quarter system. How would one convert the quarter system into semester credits? Most schools require 3 S.H. of Biochemistry, and the course at OSU is 4 hours for a quarter course.

Thanks.

Thanks. So I would have to take 2 courses on the quarter system. That's really dumb
yeah, it's unfortunate but I did that for a lot of my courses between a semester undergrad and quarter postbac.
some med schools don't recognize online courses though -- just something to keep in mind if you're taking it for med school.
