Looking for a bit of advice here on which courses to take during my last semester.

I'm headed to med school semester after next (different timeline as I'm not American 🙂). I have completed the prerequisite subjects with a few extras: biochem 1, microbio 1, anatomy 1, physiology 1, and molecular biology. I have absolutely no interest in advancing further in the field of my ugrad studies (chemistry), so I can basically pick 2-3 courses from the entire course catalogue, provided they are not introductory.

Considering this information, which courses would you recommend I take? My options are to take courses that will make my first year in med school easier/less time consuming (e.g. phys 2, genetics, microbio 2) or to take the slacker courses such as literature and sociology (we don't have compulsory gen eds). I think the later would give me a lot of time to enjoy my last few months of freedom for a long time. Also, GPA isn't a problem, I just have to pass, which is easier said than done considering my motivation levels at the moment 😳.

Thanks

take what you think is fun, srs. take non science courses

Basket weaving, dance conditioning, beer bread & cheese, rock music & society...the list goes on and on. Srs tho, the world is your oyster at that point. Live it up!

Take classes that interest you. I'm going to take neural computation and molecular pharmacology.
