Hi everyone.
Im new to this forum and I need some help in my life. If I was interested in neurosurgery then what classes should I take in high school to help me to get a place in this profession?

Algebra, chemistry, social studies, literature, biology. If I were you I would not worry about taking classes to be a neurosurgeon at this ponit in your career. Enjoy HS and college. Worry about becoming a neurosurgeon when you get to medical school.

Maybe it is, but I'll take it seriously just in case.

Your goal in high school should be to prepare for college. All subjects are important, but math and science will serve you especially well.

Your goal in college should be two-fold: first, to gain admission to medical school, second, to become a well-rounded educated person. This will likely be your last opportunity to study a foreign language, take formal music classes, learn something about sociology, etc.

Your goal in medical school should be to perform your best academically and make early and consistent connections with neurosurgery clubs, conferences, and faculty.

Best of luck!
