Hello Everyone!

Would you recommend taking Cell Biology, Genetics, and Cell Metabolism in the same semester? I know these are incredibly hard classes.... Is it more "oh that is going to be difficult, but if you work hard you can manage" or "no one will get A's in all three". I go to a state school, for what it's worth.

Thanks for your help!

Only these 3 classes? No general education? If so, it should be very easy.

Agree with above. That's it? And they aren't "incredibly hard" if you pay attention.

You might be busy if you're working 25-30 hours per week.

I think the difficulty all depends on the professor, but that's my 2 cents.

Keep in mind a medical school course load is greater than that.

No, I'm taking 19 credits total!

And a quick secondary question... if I want to complete a biophysics minor, should I take one of those classes instead of cell biology to show diversity?

Ok.... well then what does matter? I keep hearing people saying that majors/minor etc just don't matter. Is this really true? Should I just major in medieval art and get a 4.0? If I were sick, I sure as hell would prefer a doctor who had a heavy courseload than some humanities major with no minors.

Majoring in medieval art would be 10x better than a triple science major.

Freshmen premeds are the ones who out of thin air start suggesting that their plans of double majoring are worth anything.

Everyone has to take the prereqs. If you can perform well in them, major in whatever you want.
