Well the peripheral nervous system deals with the motor neurons (efferent neurons) so it's fine. I think it's just another name

It is accurate. Your main motor modalities (as far as what can be expected of you atm) are voluntary and involuntary. The somatic motor neurons cover your voluntary motor innervation, the autonomic covers the involuntary. If you want to splice hairs, the PNS also involves sensory neurons, whereas the question is just addressing motor innervation.
