Busy ENT, Allergy and Sleep Medicine practice looking for a clinical assistant in the office to work directly with the doctor and their patients. Past Clinicians in this position have been medical school graduates waiting to Match.
Job Description:
·Triage patients; obtain a complete medical history, HPI and vitals.
·Record Physician’s observations and comments on electronic medical record.
·Retrieve data for Physician review (Labs, radiology reports, medical records).
·Prepare computerized physician order entry for review.
·Counsel patients on new diagnosis and explain the importance of medication compliance and potential side effects.
·Counsel patients on the importance of follow-up, as it pertains to a specific medical condition.
·Work alongside Otolaryngologists and Audiologists to help patient encounters more efficient and effective.
·Opportunities for involvement in clinical trials and otolaryngology research.
Opportunity for letters of recommendation from multiple physicians within the practice.
Requirements
· Eligible for employment in the United States
· MD or equivalent degree - Foreign and International medical Graduates are welcomed
· Fluent English (speaking and writing)
