Hi guys,

I was just wondering...does the clock tick down second by second on your screen during the actual test? I figured it did since it does in the practice exams - it gets rather annoying/distracting. If so, is there any way to hide it? Again, I assume not... :/

Timer on the real thing is similar to the practice tests. No way to hide it that I saw.

The timer on the real thing also pops reminders at the half way mark and the 5 minute mark. I really really hated that.

It actually frightened me. Here I was all intent on the passage, figurin' away, and up pops this thing outa nowhere. I honestly jumped each and every time.

the clock can be distracting. the clock is at 45 minutes and 5 minutes mark. too bad we can't hide it.

thats what i hated. who friggin cares when there are 45 min left??? I could have used a reminder when there were 30 sec left (at least)

I agree. The clock was really annoying. It distracted me big time, and really caused me to rush and worry on difficult passages. I tried frantically to find a way to hide it to no luck.

agree with the poster above. the timer is in the lower left-hand corner and will drive you crazy - especially if you are rushed on time and are trying to figure out the last question with like 20 seconds left because you constantly just glance at the clock!!!!!!!! grrrr
