Who told you your app is boring or cookie cutter? It's not, but you need to express how important all of those significant experiences are to your development as a physician.

@Mr.Smile12 No one really told me explicitly that my application is boring/cookie-cutter, more of a conclusion I've reached after reading way too many WAMC threads. I guess my mind is self-selecting too much for people who were varsity athletes and such. I feel like my angle is my teaching/educational-outreach stuff, but so many people have teaching/tutoring in their app already. Like you said, probably more so how I reflect and express it at the end of the day.

@Goro Thanks! Care to hit me with one of those school lists you're so famous for?

I suggest:

NYU
Vanderbilt
WashU
Yale
JHU
U Chicago
U Penn
Northwestern
Columbia
Harvard
Stanford
Mayo
Cornell
Sinai
BU
U VA
Duke
Case
ALL UCs (only for CA residents), UCR (IF you’re from the Inland Empire)
Albert Einstein

Applying MD only next cycle (ignore the username from years ago lol). Curious what people think. Worried that my app is a little boring/cookie-cutter.

Mate that's quite the opposite of boring and cookie-cutter! You have really good research experience, and amazing non clinical volunteering. You're clinical volunteering might be a tad bit little on the lower side (I'm assuming you took a gap year?) for some service-heavy schools like Rush (you have higher stats than them anyways lol) but other than that you're golden.
