I am struggling with what schools to add to my list. I know I should apply to more, but I'm not sure if I have any true safety schools. Any suggestions on what I should add?

I have been volunteering in a cardiac cath lab for 6 hrs/wk over the summer and 3 hrs/wk during school for about a year, for a total of about 150 hours. I also volunteered for 5 months in the emergency room waiting room, total of about 50 hours.

I work full time over the summer and 12 hrs/wk during the school year at student financial services.

Shadowed an internal medicine doc for 8 hours (1 full day) and consider my cath lab experience to be both volunteering and shadowing. (I help move patients from the pre/post area and attach electrodes, blood pressure cuff etc. and then watch the cardiologist perform the procedures, I've also seen multiple others they do).

Tutored physiology for credit, also taught a 1 credit honors class with a partner for incoming honors students.

No research at the moment, but I will be researching for credit with my O-chem professor for at least the fall, most likely spring as well.

All that said, here's my current list:
Loyola
Creighton
University of Colorado (resident)
Wake Forest
University of Toledo
Tulane
Michigan State
Albany
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College of Georgia (all extended family lives there, dad is an alum)

I appreciate your time and consideration.

Good list actually. You could apply to the TX schools if you like. I know it's another app, but Lubbock and El Paso ain't that far from CO! Also consider Miami, EVMS, VCU, Loma Linda, Drexel, Temple. You could add a reach school or two if you like...your current lack of research will be your Achilles' heel with those institutions. You have a great shot at your state school stats-wise I would think.

This is an update:
I was really close with my MCAT (It turned out to be (11/11/12) 34O) The O was obviously worse than expected so I hope it is pretty unimportant as everyone says.

Here's my final list before I submit, any suggestions for additions or anything I should take off the list? Mainly, I want to know any realistic reach schools or if I'm in my niche pretty well missing research experience.

Creighton
Albany
Loyola
Michigan State
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College of Georgia
Tulane
University of Colorado
Wake Forest
University of Michigan (reach)
University of Iowa
University of Kansas
University of Toledo

I say add Baylor, but I'm biased! Since your family is in GA--why not Emory? Not interested in Miami? I think you have a shot at the TX public schools as well. Cheap cost-of-living and tuition! Congrats on the MCAT, and good luck!
