cocaine as local anesthesia why with epinephrine?

So epinephrine is given with cocaine for local anesthesia, but why? Doesn't it make more sense to give Norepinephrine with cocaine for better vasoconstrction effect for local anesthesia? Epi has stronger beta effect, which vasodilates right?

likely because combined cocaine+norepi can elevate BP to a dangerous level. Therefore, its therapeutic windows is narrower compared to epi+cocaine.
