I work at a coffee shop on my college campus. I drink so much coffee during my shift, and then I'll make a latte for my studying after my shift. I think I'm starting to become immune to caffeine.

2-3 cups every day. My fiance and I put a majorly expensive espresso maker on our wedding registry..and someone actually bought it for us! So now I have this superautomatic espresso maker and it has definitely upped my consumption. Hmmm quick shot before the gym...etc.

Most med students drink a ton of coffee. Although I brew loose green tea almost every night right before bed as well.

Those taste any good? I've been thinking about trying one. Everyone raved about red bull, but to me it tastes like many things SDN would bleep out. I only like 'em in jaegerbombs.

Some of you are much better people than I in terms of caffeine 😀

I like my caffeine and I like it everyday. My 1-2 cups a day with some diet sodas thrown in the mix is nothing compared to my husband. He drinks 2-3 cups of coffee a day plus 1-2 energy drinks plus soda. He eats a lot of junk food snacks along with it. He should be fat with all the junk food, but he has always been one of those "metabolism of the gods" type of people plus he does do PT every morning. (active duty army)

My boyfriend raves about 5-hour energy shots, and while I agree that they keep you alert, they don't actually give you a boost, which is really what I need, especially during the mid-afternoon.

I usually go through a pound of whole coffee beans every week or two. I love the taste of coffee. I will make a cup at 9 or 10 at night just to have something to sip on. If I drink too much (which is like 5 o 6 cups in a relatively short amount of time), I'll get the jitters, but for the most part I don't feel the effects of coffee all that much anymore. Serious headache if I go a day or two without drinking a cup though.

Mon. to Fri. I'll drink 2 energy drinks (morn. then around dinner), each having 250mg of caffeine. I have built a high tolerance for caffeine so even 500mg isn't giving me a big boost. Sat. and Sun. I avoid caffeine unless I have a lot of homework.

Coffee? Have only tried a cup and from what I can remember, it tasted terrible.

What do people find so appealing about coffee? The caffein helps keep you awake, sure. But other than that, is there anything really appealing about it? I mean...it tastes horrible but...different strokes I guess.

I find the actual taste of coffee to be delicious. Then again... that may be the addiction speaking.

I love the smell, having a warm drink to pick me up in the morning or if things slow down later in the day, and I like the taste.

What???? 1 cup? 28 cups a month? I go through 1/2 to 1 pot of coffee everyday.

Yeah I'm closer to this, too. Just bought a Keurig machine...LOVE IT
