hey guys. has any one heard from them? either with mail or aadsas change of status? this is my first choice, but I havent heard from them
im in Ohio...no letter today at my perm. address, but they said they mailed me a letter on Monday.
i hope it's not a rejection letterrrr =( we'll see...
hopefully tomorrow will be my LUCKY DAY
and congrats barbars!!!
So i guess there was only one piece of paper in the envelope?I got my letter from there today as well. Snail mail in a manilla'ish type envelope with a personal handwritten messge from Dr. Mcmanus and the other admissions dean.
No, there is also a student information application that is like 6 pieces of folded paper. It isn't completely flat. Its actually kinda think. Thicker than NYU's.So i guess there was only one piece of paper in the envelope?
Just curious and don't wanna frick out for getting a flat envelope;
Thanks for the reality check... I'm not expecting to get in there anyway. I don't feel like my interview went very wellYou live in Georgia! It was mailed from Columbia on Dec 1st. Someone said they received it on Dec 1st which means they live extremely close to the school. The closer you are, the faster you will receive it.

Congrats! And don't worry about the Florida rejection, as I'm right there w/ you. As I was reading my UF rejection letter, I got an acceptance call from UNC.... ironic . Anyways, I'm looking forward to getting a letter from Columbia.My permanent address is in Tampa. My parents just received my acceptance packet today (simultaneously with my rejection letter from UF). So I think you'll probably get it tomorrow. Good luck!!!
When I called, she told me that she can't tell me anything yet and I have to just wait.I called them today cuz I 've got nothing, and the coordinator said nothing has been sent out to me because NO DECISION HAS BEEN MADE YET(I was interviewed in September by the way....). Does it mean I am wait-listed??
If so, don't they have to send me a letter saying like 'you are waitlisted so just wait' ???
Also, do they even make a real decision upon waitlisted people???
and what % of waitlisted people get luckly accepted ??
