Columbia - Alternate List/Class Full?

Has anyone been taken from the Columbia Alternate List this cycle?
Ah, I'm so disappointed! 🙁

Also, has anyone received a rejection letter following the interview? From the other threads I've read, it seems as though everyone who interviews gets put into the alternate pool...

I just want a realistic idea of how many alternates are taken and how full the class is at this point, etc.

They were still giving out acceptances in Late February, so I assume they started a waitlist soon after.

Dr. McManus said at my interview that the Waitlist was a very good place to be on because they were expecting a good number of turnover.

I would like to know this as well. speaking of Dr. McManus, have you eber seen a guy with so many initials after his name? i mean he must have four master's. If you ask me thats overkill but i guess that is what it takes to be a dean at Columbia.

i would guess most people who interview are placed on the waitlist.

last year my friend was rejected after interview, but that was probably because he said his interview went horribly.
