I've been trying to fill out the Columbia application.
When we list our courses, they ask for "subject." Are people using the AMCAS way of defining subject-- i.e. if you took a class in the Neuroscience major, you are listing it as Biology on AMCAS. Or are you just leaving it as Neuroscience on the Columbia app.
Also, we don't need to list anything for course number right?
BTW... how can you fit anything resembling what's on your transcript in 15 characters? Argh...
Also, for the "satisfactions as a physician" question:
My PS was written in a narrative sort of way. I think it does answer that particular question, albeit in less direct way. Should I just save my PS for the additional documents upload and answer that question directly? Which I think would be boring but if that's what they are looking for... Anyone who worked on the app last year have any comments?
Thanks a bunch !
