Columbia MSTP

Hey guys,
I'm almost done with my Columbia App, I was just wondering if any of you guys have filled it out yet. I had a few questions:
1) "From what languages can you translate scholarly materials into English?" What is this? I consider myself proficient in Spanish, but does that mean I can translate "scholarly materials"?, I want to be careful here since they don't about languages in the regular MD app.
2)Are GRE scores required?
3)For Academic Work Experience, I assume we put our student research experience here (the "position" tips me off as maybe this section is for paid lab positions, but it says my app is incomplete if nothing is filled in so I put "student", and my PI's name for employer?)

GREs are optional, not required.

For academic work experience, I put tutoring and my paid research programs.

Also, are you guys having essay formatting problems. The application gets rid of my first paragraph indentation? Lastly,
from the app it appears as though you apply to MD and grad separately. Just wondering if thats the case.
