I am going to Columbia starting this fall. I've been up there a couple of times to check out apartments and there are plenty of places that are much more affordable than on-campus housing. I am pleasantly surprised! My husband and I will be moving to NYC in late June, so we still have some time.
Any luck with you guys?

I was going to apply for student housing this week (April 15th). I have heard good things about Georgian but not Bard. I wasn't able to make it to the open house in March so I am planning a trip in May. Did anyone go to the open house? Did you get a chance to view the different apts/housing? I figure if I don't get a spot then I can find an off campus apt.
