columbia post dec 1 interview and acceptance

Dr. McManus said that they were going to start reviewing again on the 8th of January, with acceptance/waitlists/etc. to be mailed shortly thereafter.
If you look at last year's predents, there are a few people who interviewed in December and found out between Jan 14th-ish to about Jan 26th-ish.

Congrats on the acceptance!! I was also interviewed on dec 11, but haven't heard back yet. I was wondering if your aadsas status was updated?

if it was post marked on the 8th, you got it really fast
Any recent interviewees know how full the class is at Columbia so far?
i just called Columbia, and they said my application is still under review.
I guess they didn't quite like me yet keke.
I guess anything but rejection is good news

that guy (or girl) who was rejected on predents is an international student. i'm pretty sure the process (dates and dealines) are different for them (at least from what i've read on this forum).

i made a mistake, i think they started rejecting people in march last year.
also, you should just relax, there will be alot of movement all the way up to may.
i think after today we could start hearing something considering the deadline for deposit form the Dec 1st acceptances is happening now....

if you can front the money, you should definitely go. it's a great school.
since last friday was the deadline for dec 1st people to put their deposits, I would assume they sent out a bunch of acceptance last friday.

i called last week and asked. they send snail mail first, then eventually your aadsas will update.

I was eagerly waiting to finish up work and check my mail box.
I was very nervous, but only to realize that today no mail was delivered due to the MLK day......

Very recently, Jan 8th. Do you think they send out a wave soon for all interviewees who went before Jan 15th? Or do you think it is on a person by person basis?

January 8th. I know I haven't been waiting that long but it's my #1 school so I'm on pins and needles

Super surprised as I didnt think I was getting in. Guess I did better on my interview then I thougt.
Must have met you Haji though the day is a bit of a blur for me since i was a little bummed by my interview.
