is anyone suffering through this thing? whats the point of the course listing... its all on the amcas form.

I know! I have 4 years undergrad (with two summers) as well as 4 years grad school. I had to upload an additional sheet. All day at the lab I was griping about that damn secondary! All I have left is the "satisfaction" essay, which I am not eager to write, since I feel like I explained that in my AMCAS PS. Oh well 🙂

By the way, it looks like we are applying to a lot of the same schools. Good luck 🙂

I was under the impression that the Columbia Secondary that is up right now is from last year when they weren't apart of AMCAS. This would explain why they want similar info as AMCAS has already asked for. If you have a newer version that I am not aware of I appologize and please disregard this post.

yeah, maybe not, but you can select entry date 2005 in one of the sections.

it sure looks like it the 2005 secondary.

That would make sense but doesn't the application have a due date of something like October 2004?

generally the sooner you turn crap in the better your chances.

anyways, a lot of schools dont even look at your amcas -- they just use it as a screen to allow you to apply, opting instead to read your stats and essay questions simultaneously instead of having all applicants get through some kind of cutoff through the amcas.

Entering all your courses was part of the horrendous Columbia application last year when they were non-AMCAS. I would wait to see what the dilly is for a couple weeks before painstakingly going through that entire online application again. Good luck guys.

I would wait for an official email before filling anything out. If it turns out we have to enter all this redundant info on the secondary, then the Columnia admissions staff are ******s.

I already submitted mine, it said for 2005...my courses are easy to put in, one school, 3 years....I hope it wasn't the wrong app.
