I am going to be applying to Industrial/Organizational Psych masters programs in the Fall and was wondering if anyone had any knowledge to shed about Columbia's Social/Organizational psych MA. I ran across it via siop.org and it really interests me, but I was wondering if getting a MA in Social/Organizational would limit opportunities in I/O psych compared to getting a masters in I/O. They obviously seem very similar and it's listed on the SIOP site, but I just wonder if an employer would look and see that it isn't a degree in I/O and pass you over. So any advice or knowledge about that program or just thoughts and opinions about the whole specificity of the degree thing or anything else I'm not thinking of would be much appreciated.
