I would wait until Columbia finaid package comes out. It already seems like you’re leaning toward Columbia. —for academic/match potential and career opportunities. Debt free (or anything close to it) would make that choice as clear as day.

I vote for Columbia. You've been in NC and maybe want to experience NYC for a bit. It's good to experience NYC while still young. Bard Hall is not great, but it's not too bad...you can move in to one of the Towers by second year at the latest. You will have a good time at Columbia. Curious why you ruled out Baylor's full tuition.
