I was accepted into both school for an MPH in Environmental Health. I don't think rankings for Public Health Schools really matter that much, but I am curious if other people have some advice on which program they think is better. I have an undergrad degree from Columbia and the Harvard name is appealing- but I have heard their program isn't that great.

both have great public health reputations. Try and be more specific. Career goals and which department you are looking to work with? Maybe then people in the industry can better direct you.

Specifically I applied to the Columbia MPH for Environmental Health Policy. This is a career change for me- not 100% sure what I want to do but I am thinking NYC government, federal government or a drug company. I am leaning toward Columbia because this track is policy specific. I was wondering if Harvard would be a good choice for this too.

if you want to work in NYC afterwards you're probably better off going to columbia.
