Columbia vs. NYU

Does anyone have info on whether Columbia has a stronger ob/gyn residency than NYU? I need to do an externship, and was wondering which would be better to choose to 'guarantee' an interview. thank you! (If there are any other NY residencies that are even better than these, I would really appreciate their names)

I don't know much about Columbia, but NYU tends to be malignant. That said, the director of Perinatology at Bellevue will be my former attending from Tufts that is a phenomenal person and teacher.

If I decide to go into OB, I will be applying to NYU.
